About

Craftedsoft is a bootstrapped software startup from Poland. We started in March 2026 with one rule: build only what we need ourselves, use it every day, and only then show it to anyone else.

Why we started

We manage a family portfolio of rental flats, plan trips, and were planning a wedding. Every one of those jobs lived in spreadsheets, notes and email threads. Off-the-shelf tools were either built for large companies or did not work on a phone in a basement with no signal. So we started writing our own.

What we have shipped

1. Mar 2026First prototypes. Small internal tools for documents and rental bookkeeping.
2. Jul 2026Renti goes live. Rental management for about 30 flats, with bank statement import.
3. Jul 2026Trips. Trip planning with reusable packing lists, first used on a family holiday in August.
4. Aug 2026Wedding Planner v2. Guest list, seating chart and budget for a wedding planned for June 2027.
5. Sep 2026Mushroom Finder. A forest ranking refreshed every six hours from weather and soil data.
6. Oct 2026Piano and this website.

Who uses the apps

Today our apps are used every day by a small group of people: landlords managing their flats, a couple planning their wedding, and family members on trips and in the forest. We are a small studio and we prefer a few people who rely on an app daily over many who try it once.

How we work

• Every app installs from the browser and works on a weak signal.
• Each one has an automated test suite, from about 150 to over 400 tests per app.
• Money is stored in whole cents and never rounded.
• Data is hosted in the EU and can be exported at any time.

Founder

Craftedsoft is run by Arkadiusz Bernaczyk, Dr.-Ing. (TU Dresden). He designs, builds and tests the apps, and uses all of them every day. LinkedIn

Company

Craftedsoft is an early-stage startup without outside funding. While our revenue is low, we operate as an unregistered activity under Polish law, which Polish rules allow below a set revenue threshold. We will register the company once revenue grows past that threshold.
